Biography

James has been a member of the Florida Bar since his graduation from the University of Florida College of Law in 1998. With an exceptional track record, he previously served as an Assistant State Attorney, representing the state of Florida in numerous successful jury and bench trials. He is also certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit mediator.

In 2002, James made a transition from the State Attorney's Office to join the esteemed law firm of Gobelman Love Gavin Blazs and Mathis. During his tenure as an associate at Gobelman Love, James specialized in advocating for physicians in cases related to medical malpractice. He continues to dedicate himself to the field of medical malpractice law. In 2005, James decided to expand the scope of his practice and ventured into business litigation, prompting his departure from Gobelman Love.

Since 2005, James has taken on the role of general counsel for multiple small and medium-sized businesses across Florida. His clientele spans a range of industries, employing anywhere from one to 150 individuals. Leveraging his extensive experience in litigation, James excels in crafting agreements that proactively mitigate the risk of costly contract disputes, effectively reducing potential liability and legal expenses for his business clients.
