In 2002, James moved from the State Attorney's Office to the law firm of Gobelman Love Gavin Blazs and Mathis. As an associate at Gobelman Love, James represented physicians in medical malpractice litigation, and he continues to practice medical malpractice law. James left Gobelman Love in 2005 to expand his practice to include business litigation.
Since 2005, James has become general counsel for multiple small and medium businesses throughout Florida. The businesses he represents range from one to 150 employees. His extensive litigation experience helps him draft agreements that avoid costly contract disputes and limit his business clients' future liability and legal expenses.
